Besides being a freelance-musician, Reinhard Bartl is also an enthusiastic teacher. As he had to work out several technical aspects by himself (just to find them approved during his studies and in master classes), he now is able to pass on this knowledge very efficiently and promptly. Next to all this the joy of making music and playing this wonderful instrument always will be a main priority.

Just as well he works as an ensemble-coach. The main aspect of this occupation is to make the players comprehend, that music is in fact a language in its own, with which one can communicate in various ways, either with each other or with the audience. Just as any other language, music consists of its own "grammar" and "pronunciation". To be "understood" by the audience, the mastering of such skills is essential and therefore a main goal in the work with ensembles.
